Run of Thrones
[ via: SportNext.nl (thanks!) and PSFK.com]
“It seems like every brand is trying to harness the popularity of HBO show Game of Thrones into their own services. Piqueing the interest of George R. R Martin‘s fan following, Senior designer, Gene Lu, created Run of Thrones, running paths on Google Maps that are shaped like the family crests of the ruling houses in Game of Thrones.”
“It’s a fun concept and a new change for people who are bored of running their everyday routes. Users pick a sigil or family crest of their favorite GoT ruling house, then the sigil is plotted on Google Maps and the directions for the route is e-mailed to users.”

Android users of the FigureRunning app can already use the Sketch functionality to plot the GoT sigil on a map, before they start running (open the FigureRunning app, push sketch, load sketch into run and start running!) and there will be a new version of the iOS app too with this function, soon! Tag your sigil drawing with #runofthrones, share it with FigureRunning and it will be added to the Run of Thrones wall at the FigureRunning Online Gallery.
